Does CorpU Support Internet Explorer?
On August 17, 2021, Microsoft will no longer be supporting Internet Explorer 11. To maintain optimal security, compliance, performance, and the best user experience we can provide, CorpU will no longer support Internet Explorer 11 starting on the same date.
What does this mean?
Microsoft will no longer provide security updates or technical support for old versions of Internet Explorer. Regular security updates help protect devices so upgrading and staying current is important. You can learn more about how to upgrade Internet Explorer directly from Microsoft’s website.
To maintain an optimal learning experience in CorpU, we suggest upgrading to one of our supported browsers, such as Microsoft Edge, Apple Safari, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox. Please refer to our Minimum System Requirements on supported browsers.
Frequently asked questions:
Q: What will happen if I try to access CorpU on or after August 17th?
A: Users will be presented with a browser support message, and whenever possible, be redirected to the latest Microsoft browser.
Q: What if I cannot change my browser?
A: We are updating our supported browsers for the security of not just our app, but the data in which our customers entrust us to protect. Many websites currently will not work on Internet Explorer 11 and we highly recommend working with your technical services to find a solution. Forwarding our email may be a good place to start.
Q: What concerns does CorpU have with continuing to support Internet Explorer 11 after August 17th?
A: Microsoft is choosing to discontinue support of their own apps over Internet Explorer 11. Multiple issues including performance and security can arise from outdated and unsupported browsers. Allowing persons to continue using a once highly used browser would open our clients and ourselves up to unnecessary vulnerabilities.
